The overwhelming theme throughout our journey through Star Chronicles: A Bible-Based Study of the Stars by Dawnita Fogleman has been God’s amazing love for us! Just as it was rendered in the Scriptures, surely this is the greatest love story ever told! I find myself immensely humbled by it all.

God’s Love Story in the Stars

Open your heart and really meditate on all that has been presented in these past weeks. On the fourth day of creation Elohim penned our entire story from start to finish and everything in between. Then He illustrated in the stars so that we would always have access to it and remember His redeeming love for us. No wonder it is written in Romans 1:19-20 {ESV} that Creation itself teaches us about Him!

“For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”

God’s Love Story Is Complete

The entire story, including the ending, has already been written!

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Adonai Yeshua Mashiach, who has blessed us in Mashiach with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Yeshua Mashiach, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.
Ephesians 1:3-6 {ESV, emphasis mine, enhanced with the Names of God}

“He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.”
1 Peter 1:20-21 {ESV}

This means that life itself is the best and longest running reality drama known to man! We all have our roles to play, and how well we play those roles will affect our performance reviews. It’s fascinating, and immensely humbling, to me to consider that my God planned out all these intricate details and faultlessly wove this remarkable tapestry we call life!!!

Lessons from God’s Love Story

In this journey, I have been given a brand new perspective on concepts such as stress and fear. And passages in the Word such as Psalm 118 {especially Psalm 118:6}, Psalm 56 {especially Psalm 56:11}, and Hebrews 13:1-6 {especially Hebrews 13:6} have taken on a whole new meaning for me. This knowledge puts me in a position that calls for a definitive decision. One that could forever change the way I live. Either I believe that my God is the God of Creation and His Word and all He wrote in the stars is true or I don’t. If I believe it then then I have to put my pen down, and the stress and fear that goes along with it, stop trying to write my own story, and get busy living out the one He wrote to the best of my ability. If I don’t’, then I need a better pen, because I’ve got a lot of writing to do.

I think Joshua said it best, and I echo his passion…

“Now therefore fear יהוה and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve יהוה. And if it is evil in your eyes to serve יהוה, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve יהוה.”
Joshua 24:14-15 {ESV, enhanced with the Names of God}

I pray this journey has left you feeling as liberated and loved as it has me! May your next journey be blessed! Shalom beloved!~
