And Elohim said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. And Elohim made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. And Elohim set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.
Genesis 1:14-19 {ESV, enhanced with the Names of God}

These verses have always peaked my curiosity and, after reviewing Star Chronicles: A Bible-Based Study of the Stars by Dawnita Fogleman from Fogleman Forerunner, I decided that we would dig in for a 14-week study to give us a solid overview of the subject. This study will be a primer of sorts, to open our minds and get us ready to learn some of the deeper truths in the Word.

Our primary focus in this study, along with familiarizing ourselves with the facts presented in Star Chronicles: A Bible-Based Study of the Stars, will be to locate as many of the constellations and signs in the Bible as we can. I also hope to connect them to as much Hebrew as possible.
This 14-week study is scheduled to start May 5th and we would greatly enjoy having you join us! Check back here often as the links to the individual posts will be added here as we go along! Blessings beloved!~
